The clear Hintersee at the entrance to Klausbachtal has always been a popular tourist destination. A boat ride on the ferry "Annerl", a rustic boat ride or a walk along the "Malerweg" around this beautiful mountain lake delight young and old.
Klausbach- and the Wimbachtal offer countless opportunities for hiking and mountain tours in National Park Berchtesgaden.
A national park trained team offers free guided hikes, such as the "eagle walk" etc.

Very impressive is a ride on the electric boat on the fjord-like lake Königssee and a stay on the peninsula St. Bartholomä. There you can visit the beautiful Baroque pilgrimage church or join a guided hike to the "Ice Chapel" with a view of the Watzmann east wall.
The cable car ride up the Jenner - for those who find the climb is too hard - or the unusual bus trip to the Eagle's Nest (1834 m) offer impressive views in our mountain panorama.
The community Bischofswiesen is waiting with a beautiful natural pool, nature reserves, a fairy path, and in winter, with wonderful cross-country trails and the Götschen Ski Centre.

In Berchtesgaden you'll find a beautiful historic town center, the royal palace of the Wittelsbach family, numerous churches, a meditation path, the museum and plenty of opportunities for shopping.
Don't miss to visit one of the many nice cafes and restaurants in town.
A fun especially for families is a trip into the salt mine of Berchtesgaden and a visit to the swimming and sliding fun in the "Watzmanntherme" .
